![]() blizzard are too shallow, theyre not arpg players. ultimately they just want to get there, they no longer enjoy the journey.ĭ3 is fun, i think its safe to go check it out, it cannot replace poe, i doubt D4 will replace poe. thats why some of the people are bitching, not all, theres many reasons for the bitching, but some players are long term burnouts holding on to a game they struggle to enjoy out of habit so they have no hunger, when the going gets tough theyre not enjoying it. but a lot of people are just bored and fk. It needs poe2, so many people are just holding on because poe is an amazing arpg and were so invested in it, in terms of mind, time and money, we love the game. but because the gameplay is too shallow moment by moment and after 15k hours spent in poe im perma burned out by this point. In poe i play leagues for about the same time lol, a week or so, not because i run out of things to do, theres more depth in poe than i will ever fully explore. i play most d3 seasons now, probably for like a week and then im done because ive done everything there is to do. I played a lot of d3 from release, when was that? 2012? it was about a year before right went open beta in 2013 right? no? i think i played it non stop for that year, tried out poe on launch and never looked back until reaper of souls expansion came out. People who are saying its a shallow and limited game that offers limited enjoyment are correct. nor can it begin to compare in terms of character build diversity, endgame activity diversity, depth in almost any system outside of the moment by moment gameplay already mentioned. its fairly bad, it exists but when compared to poes item system it might as well not exist. it has gameplay advantages over poe in this regard.Īt the same time d3s item system. D3 is fun, if you are more into grinding content than boss runs then d3 provides much harder grinding content that takes some real effort. ![]()
